Right now (07:15 UTC), E11a is on 11486 kHz, USB, with a solid S9 signal. A 46-group message (without the initial and ending 77777's, which is E11b) for Agent "389", starting with "07946..." is in progress.

Have you heard messages for 389 in the past? Did you mention a pause after each 10 groups? Sounds, like they ether choose different pauses for spaces and line breaks (well, _if_ they use spaces and line breaks) or they really want the reader to know the position of each group (which may imply an additional transposition or presence of garbage in the cipher) even if some groups were lost in translation.

Hello ivlad,

The pause is usual for E11; I think some other stations do the same (V02a?). Probably it's an "aesthetic touch", or a little aid for the listener (for example I write 5 groups on each line of my logbook so after two lines I expect the little pause to ensure I didn't miss a group :-))

And you're right, according to the latest Enigma2000 Newsletter, Agent 382 (and not 389) was expected on Thursday, 0715z. I don't listen to E11 as much I listen E25 :-) so I'm not sure if 389 is a new call...

BTW thanks for the transcript!
